Pay per click schemes such as Neobux and Clixsense actually pay you to view other peoples ads. All you do is set up a free account them sit back and click on their ads. They pay about $0.10 per click. Once you have built up $2.00 you can 'buy referrals' where you earn from other people clicking on ads and therefore earn money more quickly. They promise about $300 - $400 earnings per month - eventually.
With Neobux you are only allowed to use one computer per account. I got smart and decided to use my PC and my laptop and got caught out. My account was suspended. I had earned $0.09 by this point. They pay out when you reach two dollars. Clixsense allow to to use more than one computer, you can even do it from an internet cafe. However, they only allow one account per family and do not do referrals so affiliates is the way to build up your cash. They do regularly pay more per click than Neobux.
Again affiliate schemes are fairly easy to join and many people apparently make a lot of money from them - I didn't!
As with adsense you need a website and this needs to be verified which is relatively easy and straightforward as long as you have access to your web server. You can apply to various retailers schemes and once accepted you can place adverts on your site. They pay you a commission when someone clicks on the ad and then buys something from them. Affiliate Window along with tradedoubler and commision junction are the main companies here.
I have recently had a small amount of success promotoing Speed-e-loans.com who are available via Affiliate Window.
Another company I have come across recently is Clickbank. If you are a product re-seller (i.e. ebooks etc.) then CLICK HERE to join Clickbank
Someone bought groceries from Tesco via one of my ads and I earned £5.00. They pay out once you have accumulated more than £30.00. So my fiver is still sitting in an account waiting for another five people to buy groceries.
Amazon is an easy scheme to join. Again you need a website and accepyance to the scheme. With Amazon you can creat an 'astore' which you can include on your site. This can be customised to suit your site. When somebody clicks through your site a cookie is left on their computer which identifies them when they go back to the site (I think it probably stays there for about 24 hours). I set up a recipe site and someone clicked through without buying anything. They then went back direct to Amazon and bought three music CD's - I earned 72p! So far that is the sum of my Amazon earnings. What lesson can YOU learn from this? Target your site to something that people actually want to buy.
You can also sell on Amazon. If you have ever been on Amazon you will see used items available for sale alongside new items. These are from companies external to Amazon who use the site to sell anything from books to DVD's. Most of these work on the basis of making a few pence per sale but selling loads of items. They do work - I have seen it! I have been in an Amazon re-sellers warehouse which had tens of thousands of books in it. They have five or six management and administration staff and two or three warehouse staff and are making enough money for them all to earn a salary.
If you sell less than 35 items a month, Amazon take 75p per item. If it is more than 35 items you need to open a power-seller account which costs £25.00 per month (at time of writing)
I dug out all those old books I was given as unwanted Christmas and birthday presents and listed them all on Amazon. So far I have sold nowt! But again I think that syas more about my book collection! If you have a lot of used items, I would certainly recommend Amazon. It is easy to use and you only need to enter the ISBN number from the book and a short description of the condition. It is a lot easier to use than ebay for instance.
Survey schemes such as YouGov will pay you to take part in surveys. They award points everytime to take part in a survey which can eventually be turned into cash. They also have regular prize draws to win cash. I have regularly taken part in surveys and have so far earned - yes you've guessed it! Nil!
Still, some of the surveys are actually quite interesting and at least you can feel like you are doing a bit of good for somebody.
If you are good with a camera (I thought I was) then there are many ways to sell images online. Two of the main sites are: istockphoto and fotolibra.
You do need a very large collection of images to make money with this but it is well worth a try.
